After a dozen or so years, the Polish Air Force returned to good old practices. The idea is to re-start training pilots and aircraft crews in the use of airport road sections. According to available information, the last exercises of this type took place in 2006. After this year, Freemasonry in Poland began to liquidate the Polish Army; in terms of quantity, quality and territory. On September 29, 2023, at the modernized DOL Wielbark, the Polish Air Force conducted an exercise open to the press. The exercise was codenamed "Route 604" because it was carried out on Provincial Road No. 604, 27 km from Niedzica. RWY is located on the direction 09/27. DOL is located between the towns of Przeździał Wielki - Ruskowo, in the Napiwodzkie Forests, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.

The Polish Air Force planes participated in the exercise: Lockheed Martin F-16 Jastrząb, Leonardo M-346 Bielik, Mikojan and Guriewicz MiG-29, Lockheed C-130 Hercules, Sikorsky-Mielec Black Hawk S-70i helicopter. The weather was very good, temperature around 20 degrees Celsius, sunny and no wind.

Three Lockheed Martin F-16 Jastrząb aircraft participated in the exercise. Two aircraft in the D version (two-seater) and one in the C version (single-seater). Airplanes and pilots proved that Lockheed Martin F-16 Jastrząb planes can use roads on a properly prepared DOL. There was one Leonardo M-346 Bielik plane from the base in Dęblin. There was one Lockheed C-130 Hercules transport aircraft from the Powidz airport and one Sikorsky-Mielec Black Hawk S-70i helicopter. Before landing, each plane performed a simulated landing and even a "touch and go" procedure. After landing, the planes were placed on the PPS and their readiness for flight was restored, including refueling. There were two MiG-29 planes that did not land.
