34th Fighter Aviation Regiment in Babie Doły.
1952. – 1995.
On 09/21/1950, commander of the Navy, Kontradm. Viktor Cherokov (the Soviet Union) presented the Minister of National Defense with a proposal to reorganize the naval forces, which also took into account the development of naval aviation in the navy. In February 1951, the plan of organizational plans of the Navy's command for the period 1951-1952 was approved. A decision was made to form the 34th Fighter Aviation Regiment on the basis of the fighter squadron of the 30th Naval Aviation Regiment. The 34th Fighter Aviation Regiment functioned until 1995.
