History
The Sukhoi Su-25 aircraft is an attack aircraft that was created as part of the Soviet response to the American Fairchild A-10 aircraft. But the Su-25 aircraft did not achieve such success as the A-10, although it actively participated in the war in Afghanistan. The Sukhoi Su-25 plane made its first flight in 1975. The Polish Army did not buy these planes because the offer was in conflict with the PZL I-22 Iryda plane, which was then being developed in Poland.
