The Orneta station is located in the Lidzbark County, in the Warmian-Masurian Province. The coordinates are 54 ° 06′53 ″ N 20 ° 09′01 ″ E. Currently (2022), the Orneta station is served by the PolRegio carrier in passenger traffic. There are three pairs of trains (rail buses) from Olsztyn to Braniewo. Occasionally, tourist trains, usually hired by the Germans, appear on the trail. There are, for example, trains called "Hansa Express" and "Classic Courier". In 2018, the Orneta station served up to 20 passengers a day.
