Military exercises codenamed Anakonda 18.
The exercises codenamed Anakonda are the largest combined exercises of the Polish Armed Forces, conducted internationally. They have been implemented regularly every two years since 2006. This year it was the seventh edition. The exercise has been appointed by the Ministry of National Defense. The function of the Exercise Manager was performed by the Operational Commander - Kinds of the Armed Forces. Until now, the Anakonda exercises have always been held in June. However, in 2018, due to the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining independence, they were planned for autumn and were a commemoration of those events.
