Further history of the Bydgoszcz airport.
On March 6, 1992, the 3rd Pomeranian Military Aviation Regiment was disbanded. The mass production of the PZL I-22 Iryda training and combat aircraft, which could reactivate the unit, was still expected. However, this did not happen. In place of the combat unit, a transport and liaison unit was created. Currently, the airport in Bydgoszcz is the International Airport named after Ignacy Jan Paderewski Bydgoszcz.
