Another new exhibits at MLP in Czyżyny in Kraków.

2010 is particularly successful when it comes to new exhibits for the Polish Aviation Museum in Czyżyny in Krakow. We haven't got enough time yet; Jaguar, CM 170 Super Magister, Mi-8 and Bell CH-136, and we already have new products. It certainly makes aviation enthusiasts happy. But most of all words of appreciation are due to the management of the museum.

Teraz będziemy mogli oglądać kolejne cztery nowe eksponaty.

The first is the Swiss De Havilland Vampier Mk.6 nb J-1142, serial number 651, made in Switzerland. After leaving the service, it was exhibited successively on two monuments and in a private French museum. The plane is now in parts and few visitors have even noticed it. But it will be assembled soon.

The second is the pearl of the RAF fighter-assault aviation. Harrier GR Mk.3 nb XW919 serial number 712074. The plane was created by rebuilding from the GR Mk.1 version. This powered lift is a veteran of the Falklands-Malvinas War (UK-Argentina 1981). Then the plane went to a technical school (the same as the Jaguar presented in MLP).

The third plane is the Republic F-105 D-6 RE No. 59-1822, D92, "Polish Glider" by General Donald Joseph Kutyna (currently in a different camouflage). The plane took an active part in the Vietnam War. Later he was at the museum in Duxford. MLP wants to repaint it with the colors it had when it flew in Vietnam, but for now it's in bad shape. I encourage you to read the biography of General Donald Joseph Kutyna. An extraordinary soldier, a great USAF pilot, an air specialist, a descendant of Polish emigrants. A friend of Stanisław Skalski.

The fourth plane is the transport An-26 nb 1508 from 13. PLTr / ELTr, which is close to my heart. I personally saw his arrival at the Balice Airport on March 20, 1973. The aircraft was withdrawn from service in 2007 and has now been placed in MLP.
