MiG-15 BIS planes are improved MIG-15 aircraft. The main change consisted in using a stronger engine. The first MiG-15 BIS planes in Poland appeared on January 23, 1953. Because in PZL Mielec Durable production of LIM-1 aircraft (MiG-15), which is why MIG-15 BIS planes were made to produce, which in Poland were marked by LIM-2. The first LIM-2 was produced on 17 September 1954. At the same time, the production of new engines was launched.
