Activity of the Lublin Airport.

In 2016, four years of operation of Lublin Airport, the newest commercial airport in Poland, passed. Despite the reluctance of the central authorities in Warsaw, especially the previous Masonic Government of the Republic of Poland, Donald Tusk, the port is developing and achieving better and better economic results. In 2015, the port served 265,021 passengers. The next year was even more ambitious. The port authorities counted on the clearance of up to 430,000 travelers. April 2016 was very good. 32,200 passengers were served. In May 2016, the number of 35,054 people was reached, with 491 air movements, and it was only the beginning of the holiday season.

And that's all, with the systematic boycott of the Port of Lublin by the management of PLL LOT. Let us remind you that when the construction of the terminal and the entire landing field began, the authorities of LOT Polish Airlines expressed interest in launching local connections from Lublin. Then, when the construction was very advanced, LOT Polish Airlines withdrew from its promises. It was a classic example of treating Poland "B" as the worse and of little value. The actions of local government officials from the Lublin region contributed to finding a carrier willing to handle connections. It was WIZZ AIR. Then came RYANAIR, followed by Lufthansa and Lithuanian charter carrier Small Planet. Temporarily, connections from Lublin were operated by Euro-LOT.

In 2016, we did not know what the financial liquidity of the Port of Lublin looked like, but we wished that the airport would develop, that new carriers would come and new connections would be created. The Lublin region is worth it and the people who live here have a right to it.

PKP to Lublin Airport.

In 2012, an electrified railway track was built to the Lublin Airport terminal, the passenger stop of which has one track and two platform edges. The line is served by electric or diesel trains on the route Lublin Główny - Lublin Północny - Świdnik Miasto - Lublin Air Port. The train covers the entire route in 17 minutes. During the day, 7 to 9 trains traversed the route. Their timetable was matched with the flight schedule. The route is served by diesel trains, for example SA134.

The railway line partially uses the traces of the former railway sidings of the WSK PZL Świdnik plant. Railway line No. 7 Warszawa Wschodnia - Dorohusk (Vistula Railway, Vistula Iron Road). The line is 267.471 km long and connects Warsaw with Dorohusk. The line is double-track along its entire length (except for the section from Wólka Okopska to the border with Ukraine) and is fully electrified. At the Świdnik station, from the railway line No. 7, railway sidings were built in the 1950s to the Communication Equipment Factory. The current railway line to the Airport was launched on December 14, 2012. The line carries No. 581 Świdnik - Lublin Airport. The line has a length of 3,695 km, and is electrified, single-track. The maximum speed is 60 km/h. The line runs along the provincial road No. 822, Jana III Sobieskiego Street. The investment cost was approximately PLN 27 million (2012). The investment was financed by the Marshal's Office. Przewozy Regionalne - PolRegio was chosen as the carrier. But let's remember that Freemasonry actively (through the Polish-language media) attacked the Marshal's Office.

Due to the pandemic of the Chinese virus, the number of air connections from Lublin Airport has clearly decreased. On November 7, 2021, PKP PolRegio suspended the railway connection. On July 1, 2022, rail connections were resumed. They were adapted to air connections. Initially, there were three trips a day.

Currently, the cost of travel from Lublin Główny to the Lublin Airport stop is PLN 7.60. In addition, train customers can take advantage of many discounts and promotions. A group of up to 4 people can take advantage of the "You and one, two, three" promotion. The first person buys a normal ticket or a ticket with a statutory discount, while the remaining people will pay about 1/3 cheaper. PKP encourages you to purchase tickets via the PolRegio mobile application, available for devices with Android and IOS operating systems.
