Jaworzyna Śląska is a city in Poland, located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in the Świdnica County, in the Jaworzyna Śląska Commune. The city belongs to the Wałbrzych agglomeration. Jaworzyna Śląska is situated in the south-western part of the Świdnica Plain in the Foreland of the Wałbrzyskie Mountains, at an altitude of 220 - 238 m above sea level.

In 2019, Jaworzyna Śląska had 5,110 inhabitants. The city has an area of 4.34 square km. Jaworzyna Śląska received city rights in 1954, when it was already within the borders of Poland.

The city owes its development to railways and industry. In the 19th century, in Prussian times, the railway line from Wrocław to Świebodzice was built by the Wrocław-Świdnicko-Świebodzice Railway Society. Currently, the line is No. 274. At this point the line branches off to Świdnica. A passenger stop was built here, which was quickly transformed into a station and railway junction, and soon a locomotive depot was built. A railway estate was also built.
