In Poland, LOT Polish Airlines operated 16 Il-14 passenger planes. 17 Soviet and German Il-14 machines were purchased for the Polish Army. One of the last planes bought was Il-14 T nb 3069 No. 14803069, which went into service in the army. The plane was used as a transport aircraft in Warsaw and Krakow. After service, he went to the Museum in Drzonów.
The Il-14 T version is a transport and landing aircraft. The rear door, located on the starboard side, is double. The regular entrance door is placed inside the larger cargo door. Thanks to these doors, it is possible to load larger pallets and crates into the aircraft.
