FLY FEST is the few air shows that, despite the Coronavirus pandemic in 2020/2021, took place as planned. FLY FEST is undoubtedly one of the best aviation events in the Republic of Poland. Perfectly organized, safe and providing a lot of attractions. Having its own unique atmosphere. The organizers wanted to increase the international economic rank of the region and to present the potential of the Lodzkie Voivodship in terms of the aviation and aviation industries that exist here.

The main organizer of FLY FEST was the Piotrków Land Aero Club, the Piotrków Land Aero Club Association in Piotrków Trybunalski. The patron of the event was the Marshal of the Lodz Region. Admission to FLY FEST was free. The organizers have created about 1,000 parking spaces for visitors at the take-off site. Paid parking PLN 20. Entry and exit from the car park were organized in a collision-free manner, from the side of Przemysłowa Street. At the picnic, there were a lot of stalls, food stands and tents for promoting companies. There was also an amusement park. Łódź Airport Władysław Reymont, ran a lottery of free flights from Łódź Airport to several airports in various parts of Europe.

This year, on the first day of the exhibition, the organizers were not lucky with the weather. The first two hours of the shows were held in the rain. But later it was better and the weather on Sunday was much more favorable.

As every year, there were sightseeing flights. This year, the price is PLN 169 per person. The flights were performed by two planes: Cessna T206H Turbo Stationair, registration SP-MAW. Cessna 172S Skyhawk SP registration SP-MMC.
