Description of the picture: MiG-21 M nb 1907 No. 961907. Delivered in 1970. After the end of the service, it stands as a monument in Łódź. It was placed at the Hall on Aleja Politechniki (2007). As of 2018, the plane is at the 303 Squadron Museum in Napoleon. The plane is painted from the last period of use.

Structurally, the MiG-21 M was developed on the basis of the reconnaissance MiG-21 R. That is why it has many common features with it. The main differences from the MiG-21 PFM are; Over-hull fuel tank. Four armament suspension nodes under the wings. Additional fuel tanks can be carried at external nodes. As a result, the ferrying range was extended.
