The Gola Airport near Gostynia was founded in the spring of 1940, during the Second World War, in the area occupied by Germans Wielkopolska, 3 km away, west of Gostynia. Airports received the German name Kahlenhof. Exact name Feldflugplatz Kahlenhof bei Gostyn. Coordinates: 51 ° 52'9 "N 16 ° 57'15" E. It was a field airport, intended for training purposes.
In the period 1950 - 1968, the airport was used by the Polish Army.
