Construction

Construction CSS-10

The CSS-10 is a two-seater mixed-wing low wing aircraft. The hull is made of steel pipes, the wings have a wooden structure.

Simple wings, wooden construction. The wing has one girder, covered with plywood from the front. The back of the wing is covered with canvas. Slotted ailerons, deflected differentially, with a wooden frame, covered with canvas. The wing has no flaps.

Uncovered cabins, the second cab is higher. Truss body, welded from steel pipes. The hull in some cabins is covered with dural steel sheet, in the rear part with canvas on profiled slats.

Trapezoidal pattern with rounded ends. Double-girder ballasts, nose box covered with plywood, the rest with canvas. Wooden skeleton rudders covered with canvas.

Fixed landing gear with tail wheel.

Engine CSS-10

CSS-10 A - Walter "Mikron III" in-line, with 48 kW (65 HP) start power and 35 kW (48 HP) permanent power. The engine is carburettor.

CSS-10 C - Walter "Minor 4-III" in-line, with 77 kW (105 HP) start power and 59 kW (80 HP) permanent power. The engine is carburettor.

The CSS-11 is a two-seater low-wing aircraft of mixed construction. The hull is made of steel pipes, the wings have a wooden structure.

Simple wings, wooden construction. NACA 23012 profile. The wing has one girder, covered with plywood from the front. The back of the wing is covered with canvas. Slotted ailerons, deflected differentially, with a wooden frame, covered with canvas. The wing has no flaps.
