Outdoor exhibition in Łomnica. 2010
A permanent exhibition of radar equipment was opened in Łomnica in 2005. Address ul. Widokowa, right next to the petrol station. The equipment could be made available to tourists thanks to the cooperation of many military organizations. The open-air museum is a branch of the Giant Mountains Museum in Jelenia Góra. The aim of the exhibition is to show the military radio engineering education, operating until 2004, in Jelenia Góra. It presents military radio equipment used after 1945, taken over from regiments all over the country. There are: Justyna radar station (Jawor M - 2), Daniela radar station (RT - 17), Bożena radar station (RW - 31), Magdalena altimeter (PRW - 17), Lena radar reconnaissance station (POST - 3M) , or the Grażyna response disturbance station (SPO - 8). The exhibits, including the Mi-2 helicopter in the air rescue version, can also be viewed from the inside, getting acquainted with military electronics from the 60s, 70s and 80s, which at that time was world-class. In terms of the number and quality of the exhibits, it is the second such exhibition in Poland. In 2016, the museum was moved to Jelenia Góra.
