In just two decades of the Second Polish Republic, it was possible to create a thriving and high-level Polish Aviation Industry. Dozens of prototypes were developed and hundreds of serial aircraft built that successfully competed with the best Western designs. They were exported to several countries. Both in the form of finished products and licenses. We did not manage to win the defensive war in 1939, because in the history of the world it has not yet happened that one country would defend itself against two carcasses at the same time. We can make many accusations against decision-makers in the interwar Republic as to their decisions regarding the development of the Polish Aviation Industry. But these allegations have nothing to do with what current policy makers have done with the Polish Aviation Industry over the past 25 years. Since 1990, PZL has not flown a single new aircraft structure, and they consider the construction of the "cockpit floor structures of the A-320 aircraft" at the Warsaw plant a success.
