Boeing B-737 w PLL LOT.
After the successful debut of Boeing B-767 aircraft on the Atlantic routes, in the fall of 1991, LOT Polish Airlines decided to purchase a fleet of Boeing 737 Classic aircraft to replace the Soviet Tu-154 M aircraft on European routes. Four 737-400 and five 737-500 were chosen. The first delivery was scheduled for the second half of 1992.

Description for the photo: This aircraft was the fifteenth B-737 aircraft used by LOT Polish Airlines. In June 1997, LOT Polish Airlines received the third new Boeing 737-400 (28752/2874) SP-LLF. The aircraft was made in a 737-45D assembly. The plane was delivered at the beginning of June 1997, just before the visit of the Holy Father John Paul II in the Republic of Poland. And it was with this machine that John Paul II the Great returned to Rome from Balice Airport. In February 2005. the plane was handed over to Centralwings. Since June 1, 2009, the plane has been flying in the Polish company LOT Charters. Then he returned to LOT Polish Airlines. Withdrawn in March 2020.

Until 2020, PLL LOT used over 30 B-737 aircraft, excluding Boeing B-737 MAX aircraft.
Other aviation companies in Poland used about 20 B-737 aircraft.
